How many airplanes do we need?

We had an old C175 on the farm in Africa. When the GO-300 decided enough was enough, we swapped in a Chev V6 with a re-drive and lived happily ever after. When I left Africa, that C175 was still happily plotting along with the Chevy on it`s nose.... On a farm it either works, or you make a...

    Scratch Built Radials

Seeing these beautiful radials, reminds me of an engine that was available (or the construction plans, actually) some years ago, known as the HCI or HCL or some-such. Since it will be jet replica, how about installing one of those free-standing jet-powered gen-sets as well, to keep the batteries topped-up during flight? I have no idea what those little gen-sets weigh, though. Or, run the fans directly off the generator, and get rid of the battery pack?

750 N thrust=165 pounds, if I am correct. Two of those = 330 pounds, = the thrust of one Turbomeca Palas turbojet.

While cruising the web the other day, I found this site: https://www.vasyfan.com/ What do you guys think? Feasible to use in a scaled jet? Note: I have no financial or any other interest in this company.
