      I think is a wise choice for your area if you can get the W&B correct because of the extra engine weight. On my SSSC at 750 lbs ( with me included), I would have a 1200+ ROC . Have flown it in 100 deg temps and still climbing good at 5K ( 650' agl ) . I used a Culver 60"x 26" prop with my 1835 cc VW engine. Be sure you don't go over the GW with the heavier engine. When using the HVX mods you will lost a little oil pressure because of the increased flow. To recoup, use a .002 thick oil pump cover gasket instead of the stock .004 thick gasket.
