hello guys I’m new to the forum and in need of advice
I’m building a large scale Cessna 152 out of aluminium
I have the plans and want to keep the build as close to original as possible
I have made all the spars for the wings so far my concern in the Alu I’ve used seems really soft It’s most likely 1050grade but I can’t be sure I know the full size is built using 6062 I. Believe
Would 1050 grade not be suitable ?im having trouble sourcing thin alu sheet like 0.5mm and thinner I’m kind if of guessing what thickness will work
Could any one offer advice ?
