After 11 years in the Army, I am moving on, and will finally have some spare time to build an airplane. I think I know what I want to build, but I want to make sure I haven't missed any particular airplanes that might better fit my mission. The following is what I am looking for, in order of importance.

2 Seat airplane - Capable of about 350lbs of people plus maybe 30 lbs of baggage.
Fastest airplane with 100 - 120 HP - I'll be most likely using a Corvair conversion.
All aluminum construction.
Aerobatic - (+6G -3G Design limit / +9G -4.5G ultimate load limit) at solo weight.
LSA compliant does not matter

I am really looking for the fastest airplane that meets most of these criteria. My budget will be around $30k and I will most likely be looking for a second hand kit in order to cut a lot of cost. Any suggestions will be considered and greatly appreciated.
