Hi All
I am wondering if any of you have ideas on shop heat?

I live in western Washington. Winter is usually in the 30 to 40 deg. range. My shop is 1140 sqft. with 9' ceiling. It is insulated to r-19 walls and r-30 ceiling, but the floor is slab concrete (no insulation). Right now it is 48 deg. inside ( too cold for me ) and I would like to heat to 60 deg.

I am considering a ceiling mounted electric heater of 5000 watts, but I cant find any info on how to size the heater.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks Ron R
