OK, Here is a fresh thread on flying Corvair powered planes. I decided to start a fresh thread because I looked at the old one, and it really gets a mile off subject with people debating imported cars and other detours. In most discussion groups this is referred to as 'hijacking a thread' and founded upon, because it prevents builders who come along later from efficiently researching by searching the titles. In that light, perhaps we can keep this just to Corvair powered flying planes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
.
On the front page of my main site is this "Reference Page": Planes flying on Corvair Power | flycorvair On my site, a 'reference page' is just one link where a group of related stories are grouped. This one is on flying planes. If you follow all the links there, you can have a real good week of evening reading, it covers about 100 flying planes that are the works of builders we know.
.
The good thing about reference pages is that I can add to them all the time, but the link itself never changes. If someone clicks on this link 4 months from now, it may have 10 more planes on it, but the link stays the same. Speaking of updating things, we have work to do because I have a half dozen stories about new planes from November and December to add, ranging from a new 'Cleanex' in Virginia to a pair of new 750s in California.
.
We also get news from builders flying all the time. There stories appear on our news site, Flycorvair.net. It is kind of like our newspaper, where Flycorvair.com is the reference library and the store.
.
Below are a sample of stories from Flycorvair.net. Looking at them you can understand why we are beyond the point of having personalities on the internet debate if Corvairs even work. In reality you can plainly see they are flying and their builders are getting what they worked for out of their planes. On the internet, random people will spend years speaking of a single plane that didn't work, while willfully ignoring countless others that are day in and day out work horses.
