I remember reading that the cute, wonderfully-named, one-off Taylor-Watkinson Dingbat light plane of the 1930s, which still exists, has "up only" ailerons. In other words, pushing the stick to the side raises the aileron on that side but the opposite aileron remaines level with the wing. Presumably, the goal was to eliminate adverse yaw and actually provide some favorable yaw from the drag of their nearly full span. Does anyone know of other designs that use up only ailerons and what the pros and cons of that system might be?
Thanks and regards,
