I know, I know, weigh and find out, and do the water float test if I don't have a scale, and don't forget the buoyancy of air if it is light. I'm just hoping someone on here knows. All my calculations were based on the weight of the material, but not the glue. I'm just wondering if wood glue just changes chemically, or if water evaporates out of it to make it lighter, or if the wood just absorbs all that water and hangs on to it for months. Maybe the answer is in that wood book posted in the sticky, since the contents do look pretty thorough. I'll have a look.
