I am building a Double Eagle that uses a sort of box spar with caps and plywood. The local Lowes has some very nice 8ft 2x4s in doug fur. I was thinking about sawing them down into strips and scarfing/laminating them with Hughes epoxy to get the final full size lumber I need. So my question. Do I glue up all 8 caps (2 front, 2 back, x 2 wings), or can can I glue up one or two uberboards and then cut out all eight pieces?
Thanks,
Todd K.
