How would you interpret this picture?

Is the diagonal running from upper left to lower right one piece, and the other diagonal is cut in the middle? Then the corner blocks installed?

Yes, I know. Follow the plans, etc., etc., etc.! I just want to make sure I am interpreting the plans correctly.

That is the firewall on the left, by the way. And those two horizontal pieces in the middle are stringers, on the outside of the structure.
