Well, this is my first post since joining HBA. What an awesome group! I just finished my (Modified) Double Eagle wings. I made them 14.5 ft and had to substitute a lot of Fir for spruce, but they weight 65.8 lbs each uncovered, (Hardware, Aileron, bowed wing tips...etc). My question is...Are they in they ball park for average weight, sticking to the plans? Thanks. (I posted this in another forum, but I think this is the better place to ask)
