I have to ask....

Anyone actually ever bolt a 200 lb engine to the wood motor mount blocks described in their plans? I am building a Fisher H1 and am going to be installing a Geo/redrive and I have built the wood mounting points per the plans -- and I must say, I did so VERY carefully.
As I was urethaning that area.....I couldn't help but wonder if the engine would tear right off the front of the plane, haha.

I am thinking about adding steel reinforcement that wraps around to the sides with 1/4" ply reinforcing blocks.

What say you?
