I am interested in using Weldwood Plastic Resin to build wing ribs which are spruce with birch gussets. I am trying to avoid epoxy as I've had enough of it with boatbuilding and I do not think it is as perfect an answer as many believe. But I've seen one reference to Weldwood bonding poorly with birch. Anyone care to weigh in on this. I'm also thinking about aerodux 185. Ivke already settled on it for spars. It has some gap filling, but the nature of the spar build makes it easy to have good joints anyway. The ribs might be a little tougher.
