I'm doodling an airplane idea that would use Fisher(ish) geodetic "lattice" in the fuselage.

If I space the strips equally across the top longeron they sometimes overlap where they'll meet the bottom longeron. The strips go in slots in the longerons so this is a problem. Any ideas on how to get around this? I checked out Dan's Super Cub build log but I didn't see any of these overlaps.

geodetic overlap.jpg do I fudge the angle or fudge the spacing? ...or??? :ponder:
