I'm cleaning out my dad's shop (he passed away last month) and I vaguely remember him saying these two planks were sitka spruce. They are rough cut 2"X 12" X 16feet long and I see no knots in them. They have been laying in the rafters in his shop since I was a kid. How do I tell for certain they are sitka spruce? I'm almost positive he bought them when he built his Sirrocco.
