A group of us Antipodeans are building a Jodel D 18.
We have a question about the construction of the landing gear. The plans show a rather complicated mild steel arrangement which would give us a few inches of travel. We were wondering if we could substitute something along the lines of spring aluminium, if there is such a thing! Or perhaps a solid gear with balloon tyres?
Hope some Jodel flyers can help.
Cheers Nick:para:
