Here's a money saver tip: Visit your local bicycle repair shop and ask if they have some unusable tubes. After the pause and strange look, like why does anyone want unusable tubes, collect as many as you can. Once home take scissors and cut up strips various widths lengths. These rubber clamps apply constant pressure just like at the doctor office when blood is drawn. Most adhesive won't stick to them especially after applying a auto protestant. They will clamp odd shapes without slipping plus storage is easy but, best of all their FREE.

After visiting the bicycle shop stop by motorcycle dealers ask for bad tubes and worn-out tires. Tubes are thicker and stronger clamps plus you'll get more strips. The worn out tires are great rubber feet for power tools not only slip free their vibration absorbers who needs workbench cookies well saw your own. They also make abrasive cleaners. Why motorcycle tires, no steel belts like auto and truck tires you will need that right angle grinder to cut through bead wires, once they are cut tote the tire over to your band saw and saw up needed shapes. There's a bonus the tire will clean-up band saw blade at the same time. Got a wooden mallet with bad faces band saw faces to remove them, then use counter top contact cement to stick on tire faces or make some new mallets. It easy to make rubber plugs, motor vibration mounts. Best of all their FREE.

Want tires a rims for rough field landings, simple visit the auto junk yard a pick-up a couple of temporary spare tires, yep those little donuts which look silly on a vehicle the front spindles have disc brakes hub and fit the donut tires. Best of all their not free but, don't cost $495 either.

Vacuum hose too short tired of dragging vacuum stop by HD or Lowes and buy a pool vacuum hose their tougher and 50' long stretched out. Best of all are cheap than those over-priced vacuum cleaner hoses.

Got rusty metal? While at HD or Lowes pick-up some swimming pool acid it's cheap diluted it 50% with water and brush it on the rust outside it stinks, later hose it off with water metal is ready for painting. Beat wire brushes and easier.

Rebuilding you 2 stroke visit bearing supplier you'll save money and get ABEC grade 7 precision bearings from a quality OEM.

Need WD-40 try this get some cooking oil mix 30% oil with 70% diesel fuel, ever notice how sticky cooking oil is? The diesel is a cleaner and the oil leaves a film protecting from corrosion.

What one of those 1/4" bit impact tools so you can drive tough screws and bolt/nuts, buy a 3/8 x 3/8" impact socket take 0.063" wall tube, think EMT, and make a brushing to take up slop and epoxy in please get just right grip is tough so tape a couple of button magnets on the socket it time socket will be magnetized. In a hurry wrap some insulated copper wire around socket attach ends to 12 battery with a stop lamp bulb to limit current in a couple of minutes zip it's magnetized. Works with most steel tools. Tired of magnet hook wrapped copper wire to 12 volt transformer AC will De-magnetize and DC magnetizes.

Tired of pump up sprayer that won't pump up? Get rubber valve stems drill 1/2 or 9/16 hole near top of tank, tape a bead chain on the neck of the stem. Fish the chain through the hole and feed neck through hole now take a 4 way tire valve tool and tread on to valve and pull valve till it stops liquid soap helps. Fill tank and replace pump now pressurize tank with 30PSI of compress air as level drop re-pressurize. If old pump check valve (flap) leaks use Goop and seal it closed. Use bicycle pump for remote locations.

Excuse my grammar/spelling it's 0130 and past this old farts bedtime.
