Here is a awesome build of a Marcel Jurca 1:1 scale Spitfire Mk 22.:ban:
Legend Of Aces Aviation

It is complete with a Rolls Royce Griffon engine, It is a wonderful example of what can be done from plans. If you have lots of skill, money, and heaps of time.:tired:

These guys really know how to build a airplane, check out the slide show of the build. This design actually uses wood wings and a massive truss frame wrapped in beautiful alloy skin. The build must be a absolute labour of love and it shows.:)Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

So if you have a lotta time and skill, and naturally the bucks..........

Then again the Super-marine Spitfire 80% made here in OZ is **** good and you might be able to convince them to do a full scale.
