The Pietenpol Aircamper was one of the first true amateur built aircraft to be made available to the public via plans serialised in a magazine. Now some 80 years later this US design is still being built by those who want an aircraft with the charisma of the 30s. There are very few other parasol wing designs flying today with perhaps the best known being the Luton Minor which was the first successful UK homebuilt.

Parasols:
Pietenpol Aircamper
Pietenpol Air Scout
Luton Minor
Fred
Corben Baby Ace
Stolp Starlet
