It's time for me to commit to an engine mount for the Neirrh. I'm ready to weld on the typical Legal Eagle style mounts but I keep drifting back to this idea. There would be 8 AN-3's through the firewall frame (3/8" bushings welded in the frame) and 6061 bushings in the wood. The rest would be pretty much Volksplane style mounted right to the firewall.

I guess I'm just looking for validation before I start drilling holes in the fuselage;) ...comments/concerns welcomed
