I've just started making my wing tip bows. They're of 5/8" aluminum tubing. Being new to metal working, I forgot about the spring back. There's quite a lot of it. The chord on my wings is 36" and the bows are almost 16" wide (i.e., from the roots out to the tip). Any suggestions on how much I should shave off my form to overcome the spring back? I figure an educated guess from one of you is much better than hours spent taking off incremental chunks until I get there.

Thanks,
Jay
