Hello all,

Although this is my first post I've visited this forum quite a bit over the past year or two, and have gathered enough information and inspiration to move forward with my project. Hopefully my endless questions are specific enough to belong here. I will greatly appreciate all of you help and input.

I am preparing to replace the fabric covering on an ultralight glider. This is my first project of this kind and I have many questions, particularly regarding covering the airframe. I am on a shoestring budget doing things "the right" way may not always be an option. I do intend to use alternative materials on this project and improvise in some areas.

I think it would be best if I can post all my questions in this one thread as I move along. I would also greatly appreciate if someone can confirm my understanding of the process before I execute a task. So I would like to ask a question; and with some luck and a lot of your kindness, gather the information needed and communicate back to you my plan of action.

Hopefully with your help I can accomplish my goal, and at the same time we will also create a detailed project log which may be a valuable resource for other beginners.
