Hello all,
i am very new here. little background, my 15 yr old daughter is really excited about aviation, we are just starting to get her into pilot lessons, and i have been interested for 30 years and want to jump too now. about 6 months ago, my 8 yr old and i were in a small town here and saw an experimental sitting at a macs hardware with a forsale sign on it, so we checked it out, but i never called on it, of course it was gone shortly after words, but he thought we should take it home that day, turned out to be a STITS Playboy 2 place side by side, with a 90 hp lycoming in it, little long in the tooth, but not bad, fabric not shabby but had some duct tape and some alum patches on it with some screws in it etc. it was nice and i wish i had called about it, NOW, i want to put one together but i am having a very hard time finding plans. i know it it is 4130 chrome moly with stits fabric over it and i would suppose wood spar for wings? this is precisely something i can take on along with motor build etc, i am good at tig welding and wood working and mechanic work etc, but i could really use a full set of plans. where would i look to buy a set of plans for a classic like this? i really want to get going on it, and of course don't have a lot of money, but will put what i have to into it. i like rays designs, saw info about his stuff when i was a little guy and now i can't seem to find much. would anyone know where to direct me to find a set of plans for this plane?

thansk very much, all. i have wanted to build planes since i was about 10 years old, but life happened, now it is time to move on it.

thansk again.
