Hi guys,
I have been wanting to get a TIG set up to start on my design this coming summer, but not having 220v in the garage and the cost of a Lincoln on 115v/220v has got me thinking of going with an Oxyacetylene set up.
I started looking around and came across the DHC 2000 torch. I have looked at several videos and read a few reviews on it and this seems like a great little torch. It is on the expensive side, but cheaper than a TIG and I think from my prospective it has more pros verses a TIG set up, being no power is required, mobile, versitile and can weld most all metals.
Also keep in mind I have not O/A welded for way too many years, so concider I will have to learn all over.

My questions are:
Have you used it and what do you think of it for airframe usage?
Would you recommend it over a standard O/A setup?
Is the cost worth it?
Any other opions and comments?
