I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction to answer this? Currently CAD'ing some conventional single seat ideas, based around a Rotax 912, for which i have all the avaliable data, CAD model, and CG information. Now i want to look at using a VW aero conversion (4 cylinder), no specific manuacturer at this stage, as my spreadsheets suggest that i may not be loosing as much performance as i thought once i factor out the water radiator and ducting for the rotax. But i can't find any information on line about the CG position of any of the VW aero conversions, so i can't really position the motor. Can anybody help?
