I'm looking over the plans for my Horizon 2 and I realized you can add slats if you like. I've done a lot of reading and it seems like slats dont really give that much improvement for the drag they cause in most flight regimes. VGs seem to be the way to go, but I'm not sure if I can attach them to a fabric covering? If I were to use them, can I attach them to the fabric or do they have to go straight onto the wooden aircraft structure? I want to see if the trouble is worth the results.
