I am welcoming the new year abroad in Egypt, which so far has been a great trip.

I was just curious, does anybody have any experience with GA flight in Egypt or anywhere else in Africa? What was it like? What did you fly? What kind of gas did you use?

Really wish I could check out the Pyramids/Cairo from my Comanche, but unfortunately that will have to wait. I haven't seen a single non-commercial plane here.

Seems like somebody is missing out on a business opportunity, $100 for a flight around the Giza pyramids in a cub would sell like hotcakes...and there is certainly plenty of space to take off/land in.

I'll try to upload a few pictures when I get back. Would highly recommend putting a trip to see the pyramids on your bucket list, they did not disappoint.

Happy holidays!
