Hello, new here..

I need to fasten a anchor to 1/8" and 1/4" thick 6061 aluminum which is inaccessible from the back side.

I figured a SS rivnut would be stronger than a pull rivet of the same size and material in a pull, not shear, situation.. But I'm not having any luck finding the information and how much weaker the rivet is.

Can anyone direct me to where I can find this information? Or suggest a pull rivet which might be close to as strong, as a Stainless steel 1/4"-20 rivnut please?

Thanks!
