I wasn't sure where to put this thread so put it where it'll be seen the most.
I got a trip coming up to the Utah and Idaho back country in this Zenith 701. I canceled my Spot service sometime back cause of customer service problems and also considerable info about unreliable response. So now I'm thinking about a PLB in place of the Spot. Or maybe renew the SPOT. I'm looking for any info about which PLB and also any confirming info on the Spot reliability
