NOS Hirth 2706 questions

Went and looked at a Hirth fuel injected 2706 today which has never been installed/run. Since Hirth replaced the 2706 with the 3203 back in 2002, that means this engine is about 20 years young now. What would you engine knowledgable folks plan on doing/inspecting/replacing maintenance wise before viewing the back side of her at 1500'+ AGL?
