Hi all, a friend of mine passed away last winter, and I'm helping his widow sell off his airplane stuff. He was building a Murphy Rebel and was probably about 90% complete on it. Not his first project by any means either, he was quite skilled at working on airplanes. At any rate, the Rebel has a 0 time SMOH O-320 on it, there is a brand new Whirlwind 80" prop, and a set of 1650 EDO floats for it as well. Location is northern Mn. Aircraft is in a heated shop. Tailfeathers, flap, ailerons, cowl, all there. Currently a new Rebel kit sells for $25,000. A 0 time SMOH O-320 probably $20,000, the Whirlwind prop is $3,800, and the floats are worth about $7,500. Add in maybe 1500 hrs of labor and the price of $50,000 seems almost cheap. Price is firm. Private message me and I can send lots more pictures and provide you with my phone number so we can talk.
