I am very interested in the possibility of building either the Demoichelle or Cubchelle. The website is: www.pouchel.com The website of the APEV

Originally, Pouchel had designed a plane around an aluminum ladder, but they haven't used ladders in quite a while now. They are using aluminum square and round tubing. Both planes I am interested in are 3 axis aircraft with articulating wings rather than alerons. The wings are foldable, which is a major plus for me.

I have been corresponding with Charlie there in France and he says that a 1/2 VW would work on either design. They are just overweight for FAR 103, but maybe with the addition of a ballistic chute, it could be doable. The plans are in French, but he assures me that many English speaking builders have successfully navigated the build.

Does anyone here have any direct experience with these designs? T
