I'm thinking about building an ultralight. I have plans for the J-1B and would like to know more about the plane... Does any one have one or have flown one? Is it a solid plane? It is an ultralight right? Is it a doable build without the kit - just plans?

I'm new to this so any information is appreciated.
Thanks in Advance M.G.

P. S. I have woodworking experience. It's the brackets, cockpit interior, ect. that has me somewhat puzzled.
