A little about myself:
A dad in his mid 40s, engineer by trade, I am a long time aviation enthusiast that finally got around to doing something with my enthusiasm . Completed my private pilot SEL July last year. Nearly complete with my Instrument rating. Now I am on the soul search for buying vs building. I love to learn new things and whether or not I build, I still want to know how it is done. I really enjoy designing aircraft on paper and one day hope to turn one of them into reality.
Found this group due to my interest in non conventional aircraft. Specifically I really like the Dyke Delta and the Wainfan FMX-4. I have been learning a lot about various aircraft construction through online resources such as EAA and this community. Finally decided to join the group.
