Hi All, Barry here.

Have undertaken a project to rebuild a Xenon gyro after it had a forced landing in a mud flat in Tauranga harbour here in New Zealand. While the gyro was slightly damaged, the tide came in and it became a sub! There was damage to the fiberglass body during the recovery.

It is in the process of being fully stripped down, with everthing being replaced/cleaned or rebuilt.

Of possibly interest is that the original power plant was a 914 Rotax which had been removed from thre gyro prior to me buying the wreck. I will be replacing it with a different engine and redrive. More info on that to come along with pic's of the rebuild as well as some changes to the original design that we are making.

Regards

Barry
