Hey everyone! My names Gabriel. I’m a private pilot based at KHBG in Mississippi. I currently fly an RV-8 but have been really looking hard at scale replica warbirds for the future. I started off flying tailwheel from Day one because let’s be real… I wanted to fly warbirds. I did most of my training in a ‘46 Champ and a ‘68 Citabria, both of which I did own at separate times. I love my warbirds but I don’t think I would be able to afford or fund a real one unless I built it myself over 20 years it seems like. So, naturally the next step is a scale replica. I’m a mechanic for the National Guard for a living and am in Europe at the moment. Unfortunately I’m also in a battle for a medical as well with the FAA. First and foremost, thank you for having me here and I hope to be more active soon and potentially figure out where my future warbird path lies! (Though lately it’s been Spitfires, Hurricanes and P-51B’s)
