Sometimes I daydream about the best airplane to cart a bunch of friends to fly ins and such. "Best" being a sort of nebulous concept that includes style in a big way because if I were to just use my brain the answer would be to buy a minivan.

Anyways, I want to pull up in one of these: a Gee Bee C-8. Just imagine a big Gee Bee with a cabin and eight seats. Unfortunately the company was bankrupt before the prototype was finished (I wonder how far along it was) though I think had it been finished and tested it would have been outdated before they reached production.

In a lot of ways it sort of reminds me of a low-wing Noorduyn Norseman in its size and construction methods.
