Hello, everyone. I am new to the forum and may or may not be building or purchasing a 103 ultralight in the near future. I have been appealing a medical denial from the FAA for about a year now and if that fails I will acquire an ultralight. As far as that goes I am leaning towards an Aerolite 103 because I would prefer to start with a tricycle landing gear with the pusher prop up out of the way where a new guy can't bonk it on the ground. The only experience I have with ultralights is "flying" pretend ones on the computer. I have joined the EAA and will seek local training and help through them if that is my ultimate path. I just joined here to start reading posts and asking questions. Thanks for having me.
