Hello all!
I'm a PPL holding weekend warrior looking to have some fun building an aircraft of my own!
I have about 15 years' experience as a master fabricator, mechanic, machinist, toolmaker, and machine builder spanning from heavy steel erection to high precision manufacturing robotics. I'm not a wizard with low voltage digital electronics but I can at least route wires well so I hope to learn a bit there.
I'm not sure exactly what I want to build right now. The mission I have in mind is making weekend flights back to where my family lives which is about 500nm. Speed and useful weight will probably inflate the budget, maybe even IFR capabilities
