Building a Legal Eagle

Hey everybody! I'd like to build a legal eagle, but I have a few questions:

• How much will it cost(not just like buying straight parts, I'm fine with looking for better deals for supplies)
• Alternate options for less cost or improvements (safe options please)
• I'm okay with the wooden wings but I'd like to know what kind of load they can take (in relation to the previous question)
• Are there possibly other planes to look at

Flying has been a passion of mine for most of my life and I like to really get up in the sky for a low cost but having a cool looking plane like the Legal Eagle!

(it needs to fall in the 103 specs)
