Has a complete fuselage been built with this combination of materials yet, and will the CF provide enough supplementary strength to justify aluminium tube vs 4130. I believe some control surfaces have already been built for Pitts aircraft but what weight savings could be achieved for an entire airframe, and could small amounts of titanium be incorporated in critical areas such as the engine mount ?
