Hello everyone. I'm new here and wanted to say hello. A bit of background, I am not building an airplane and frankly I don't think I have the desire to start the process. However, I have always been fascinated by homebuilts. I had a subscription to KitPlanes way back when I was a young pilot with dreams in my eyes. Now I'm a captain on a widebody international airplane so life has been good to me. My question for everyone is, how can I properly (emphasis on properly) go about buying a pre built homebuilt airplane. I have been looking as Vans RV6's and 7's. I think they would be perfect for the wife and I. I have read some articles on the do's and don'ts of buying a homebuilt, but is there a broker who specializes in this or some other organization that could help? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dan
