Hi everyone, live in Nova Scotia canada, 52 years old, never flown before, but always had a dream too! Flown nitro rc planes all my life.
Well, i recently picked up a 1983 le pelican with a rotax 447 model engine. Engine works good. Wings are beat up a bit from a previous ground loop.
I am a carpenter and traded work for this. Very mechanically inclined. Currently restoring it, new fabric etc. It is a tail dragger, and thinking on converting to tricycle gear. Any thought? Thanks.
