Hi, all.

can't claim to be actively building any airplanes or even with plans for them. Thanks to my dad, I could get a plane in the air and back down again in one piece, but that's about all. These day, I'm a Science Fiction writer who delves into all kinds of cool topics.

I've come here, however, as a blast from my past. My Dad, Hugh Fancher, was something of pioneer of FBOs in the Northwest. He managed, then owned Renton Aviation in the 1950s and built his own FBO, Fancher Flyways in the early sixties. He was an FAA examiner qualified clear through to ATR.

My purpose in diving in here is I've got lots of pictures of interesting events from that era and am in the process of archiving. I'm kind of hoping you all can help me with some details...tho I'm certain I'll find lots of interesting topics floating around these hangars!
