Well lately I am having fun spraying and sanding my wing. I am putting on the Poly-spray - the silver coat, really aluminum powder in the paint to block the UV sunlight. It is to be sanded lightly between coats. What I did was I hit some rib stiches a little too hard with the sandpaper and the next coat left little fuzzy spots on a few of the stiches.
Well I went reading the instructions and found that you Don't put a hot iron on the poly-spray. What you can do is place a piece of aluminum foil over the spot and then lightly iron it. It melts the finish a little and sticks everything down so the next coat will cover! Slick.
I like the Poly-fiber (Stits) process. It sure isn't cheap but it is user-friendly and should last a long time.
