Well, North American Aviation did it with the F-82 Twin Mustang, then Burt Rutan revealed the White Knight Two, and now it looks like Piper is joining the fray with a new twin. Here's a photo of the new plane under construction, taken at their secret facility in Area 51 and smuggled out at great risk to all involved:
