Well, the title almost speaks for itself, what would you need for an Atlantic crossing in an (two-engined) experimental via Iceland or the Azores. I though of:
*De-ice on wing/prop/windshield?
*Serious (IFR) avionics plus backup, like the G900 or so.
*All the ditching suits, rafts and so on
*Some long-range radios
*Serious range, like max distance to cross with 20 kts headwind + 25/50%
*Some more redundancy in the systems, especially the fuel/engine systems.
Anything important I didn't think of?
