Hi all, have just finished forming my nose ribs for a p51 replica, and now am deciding on how to form the tapered leading edge.
Has anyone got any good ways of doing this?
I plan on doing it in either 650mm or 1300mm sections using 0.025"
6061-t6 material.
I have seen the vacum bag method on a pvc pipe, but it was a straight leading edge and I am not sure if this method would work on a tapered pipe/mould.
Any suggestions/help will be appreciated..

Shane
