Okay all you two stroke gurus, here is what I am faced with. Way back in the early 70's McColluch had an MC-101 two stroke that weighed about 15# and put out about12-15hp. Now 30+ years later shouldn't there be someone who makes an engine at about the same weight BUT with slightly more hp.?? what I am building shows an eng. speed of 9500RPM, swinging a 48" prop with a 28" pitch. the key factor is the weight. Anybody have any thoughts or ideas? Or know of a compareable power source?
