=SOLD= This is the 1973 edition of the classic practical aircraft design book by former Purdue professor E.F. Bruhn. It has approximately 1100 pages of airframe design explanations with example solutions that are not difficult to follow, using charts, tables and usually simplified math. There are hundreds of charts and tables in the book concerning tube strength, materials strength, deformation and stiffness with thousands of associated drawings. Bruhn covers subjects from basic aerodynamic loads to trusses, spars and semi-tension fields in sheet metal along with much more.
The book measures 11 x 8.5 inches, is in excellent condition with no marking anywhere.

"Stress Without Tears" is a compilation of 42 Kitplanes articles by Tom Rhodes where he works out basic airframe design problems in layman terms.
